Investing in solid basic clothing is the foundation to building a functional wardrobe. For me, a great white buttoned shirt , white denim and of course a denim jacket are some of my favorite wardrobe basics. I have been wearing this jacket since the beginning of spring and I see myself taking it further into fall and possibly winter. 

This denim jacket is one of my most loved. It is supposed to be an oversized jacket however I wanted it fitted so I bought a size “Xs” instead of my usual “L”. The fact that denim jackets are versatile makes them an irresistible piece to style. My white jean was gotten from old navy last year. I love this jean so much. It has a stretch to it so it is very comfortable. The advantage white jeans has over blue is it tend to look more classy. They add a touch of freshness to any outfit. 

The mix of different denim always feels fun and fantastic. I will never get tired of pairing these two. 

Because I wanted to look “dressed up” I wore my classic white buttoned shirt. For an edgy and sophisticated look , I opted for my pointed leopard-print heels from target. This heel is always handy. In my opinion leopard print goes with everything. 

I completed the look with my gold jewelry for utmost elegance. Thick necklaces are in and I particularly love this one from hm so much that I got two of it.

My brown zara purse is just the perfect neutral to spice it all up.
